Why Disabled Students Should NOT Attend Full Sail University

Why Disabled Students Should NOT Attend Full Sail University:
To begin with I had been a great student. I excelled very well and had a string of straight A's for the majority of the program under the Creative Writing for Entertainment Program. By the time I reached the LAST class there was in my program I started to have some issues with a class called Workshop II: Television. The class is ran by an instructor who handles both online and campus students alike. I asked for help because I did not understand formatting, and other things that go into speculation script compositions. I asked my teacher to help me, and he condemned me saying that I did not show an interest in my professional career and that I needed to be more professional about my approach to my writing.
Mind you, I am an Amazon best selling author and I have been writing since way before I ever decided to go to this college. I only wanted to go to college to further my professional career. Meaning I wanted a Bachelor's degree so that I had that educational experience under my belt in ADDITION to my talent.
Yes, I am talented. I write awesome and I know it. Maybe my grammar isn't perfect, but let's be realistic...grammar is meant for editors not storytellers.
I am a storyteller. I'm a concept creator, I'm a genius when it comes to creating people and worlds.
Everyone who really knows me knows this. Anyone who has read any of my copyrighted quotes, poems, books, or any of my other writing KNOWS that I have the talent.
I DID not nor do I ever WANT to be a script writer! I loathe everything about screenplays, and scripts. It is NOT where my passion in writing lies. At all and it never will be.
That being said I decided I wanted a degree and began looking up colleges that offered good writing programs. Full Sail had a great reputation and a very high success rate for their graduates. Or at least that was what I was lead to believe.
Now I talked to admissions and financial aid and did my research before I decided to enroll in class. I was really impressed with Full Sail and I was so excited to begin college and my journey to becoming the writer I always wanted to be. I was following my dream.
Now my dream is about to be ripped away by this teacher because he is rude, condescending and apparently according to Full Sail he is the best in the nation at television script writing.
Maybe that is true, but I kind of feel like if that were the case he should be a screenplay writer and not a teacher. I mean if you're the best in the nation shouldn't you be doing that instead of teaching it? Food for thought.
Nevertheless Mr. Dowhen was rude when I first asked for help, and it set up a very bad class experience when I first began the class in May. After asking for help he failed me and he never did give me the help I asked for. He offered me a telephone conference, which I told him at the time I could not do because of my hearing impairment and not having hearing aids. This was why I chose to take the program via an online platform because I am deaf and I have a difficult time hearing in classroom settings. This is documented by my audiologist and Oregon Vocational Rehabilitation as well. It's not something I am lying about. I cannot help that I cannot hear that well. I speak well and you cannot tell I'm deaf because I was not always deaf. I've just recently in the last few years had a terrible loss of eighty percent of my hearing. Again this is not my fault, and it should not be a reason that I am being failed from this class.
So they made me retake the course again, and again Mr. Dowhen failed me when I asked him for help. He has consistently been horrible at responding to my emails, and my requests for help.
Finally the Director of the Program emails me after I take the class for a fourth time to tell me she wants us to have a conference so that we can avoid me failing the class. She told me that she even asked the professor not to grade them so that everyone could look over and we could help me succeed and get past this last class so I could graduate from Full Sail.
So I set up a conference with a spokesperson, and two other program directors so that we could handle this issue. I explained how I had been homeless for one period of time when I had taken the class and how that had caused me to have issues. I told them how my ex-husband had a PTSD snap and how that caused me problems and got me kicked out of where I was living (roommate situation). I explained about how my Macbook had broken and I did not have Final Draft to format the script correctly. They keep penalizing me regardless even though I've asked for help repeatedly. Then the teacher says that he gets too many emails and that I should be aware of the fact that he cannot answer them all.
So how do I being an online student communicate effectively with the instructor if he does not respond to my emails or requests for help?
Also he is the only teacher in the entire university who teaches this subject both on campus and online, but I am penalized because his workload is too much and he cannot get back to me when I ask him for help?
So I contacted the Student Success department, and I asked for a tutor. I asked for any help they could give me to help me pass this course and all they could offer was 24 hour extensions on the amount of time before the deadline was up to turn in my assignments.
My issue isn't getting them in on time it's that I don't understand that formatting, and all the rules that go into drafting up these types of assignments. The reason I don't understand this is because this teacher is not TEACHING me anything.
Also when you look up your grades the grade bar forecast tells you what the rest of the class average was, and for the fourth time in a row I've seen horrific results on average for all students.
So I have to ask everyone reading this to pass it on, and let people know how Full Sail is not trying to help their disabled students, and how they are penalizing their students while covering their faculties' behinds when they cannot handle their workload. If the case is that the teacher cannot get back to me in a timely fashion about my requests for help because he gets too many emails from students doesn't that mean he is NOT doing his job?
This is not a case of me trying to cause issues just to cause them at all. I feel like I am being robbed of my hard work, and beaten while I've been down during some very hard struggles in my life. I've done my best and the teacher and school are trying to force me to retake the course again, for a fifth time, and they charge 1,500 every time you have to retake a class.
So that means I will be indebted how much money, and then if I do not get to pass I am going to be left with tons of student loan debt, no degree, and no hope to ever make my life better or graduate from college because of this?
How is this right? How can the entire class fail so many times and this teacher be called the best in the nation?
So that is why I am not graduating yet. Even though I am only one class away from the degree. Just one class away and they won't do a thing to help me because all they are concerned about is their money, and the way things look to the public. Well the public needs to know this and I've done everything in my power to handle it without having to go public, but I am not going to be pushed out or bullied around about this any longer.

BDSM Glossary of Terms

Glossary of Terms:

BDSM or S/M = Bondage, Dominance, Sadism, Masochism or Sadism/Masochism. Sometimes s/M can signify slave/Master but typically it means sadism/masochism.

TPE = Total Power Exchange, the consensual agreement between two adult parties to exchange power and control over another person particularly in a sexual setting or BDSM act.

Submissive = a person who agrees to be the subservient party to another because they are a person who enjoys the thrill of being in service to others, particularly in a sexual setting.

Slave = a collared person becoming willing property of another whom they usually refer to as their Master.

Master = a proper title for a person who is in control and experienced in the BDSM subculture.

Dominant = the person who is in charge of a submissive and maintains the power and control figurehead in a BDSM act or sexual setting.

Domme = proper term for a female dominant.

Dom = proper term for a male dominant.

Mistress = proper term for a female of equal station to a Master. (Note: Some dommes do not appreciate being called Mistress as per military code, example: All officers being called Sir as opposed to Ma'am to note gender.)

Femdom =   Female dominance.

Daddy Dom/Daddy = a term used for a male dominant, typically this denotes a sugar daddy station though purposes for the title can depend on the couple dynamic in particular.

Pet = denotes a submissive or a slave depending on the relationship dynamic. A lot of times a pet is a person who is pampered by their dominant but not necessarily very close.

Kitten/Kitty = term for a submissive or slave, also short for sex kitten.

Good girl = term of endearment for good behavior.

There are a number of other words that are used in BDSM relationships, but for the basis of facts the above is the glossary of terms used in my erotica series.

The convenience of their marriage, however, has become so suspicious that Camille begins to wonder if her husband is having extra-marital affairs. I can't wait until the next part is ready for release! If you enjoyed 50 Shades of Grey...let's just say that this is much more kinkier, and you should check it out. It definitely gets your body ready for a date night! ;) Lol. Thank you, Sai, for your continued writing! It never ceases to amaze me.

This is a 18 + book..
4 of 5 stars
Simply Crimson starts a new series by Sai Marie Johnson called The Scarlet Erotique Series. It tells of the story of trophy wife, Camille de Clervaux who suspects her husband of infidelity and decides to, one night, investigate. What she discovers goes way beyond anything she ever suspected and is suddenly thrust into a new and wonderfully dark world she never dreamed of being in. I will start by saying that I don't think I would recommend this to the squeamish reader or anyone looking for a more sweet romance. The title and cover say it all: it's a really hot read. Though combined with Ms. Johnson's writing style, even the most depraved acts come across as being almost poetic. For a short read, the characters are pretty well developed, as is the atmosphere, and in many ways I think this actually tops the first book in the Dark Priesthood series.
5 of 5 stars
All I can say is wow. I had it read outloud to me the first time I rated it, but to read it myself...again wow. You've got serious talent, Ms. Sai Marie. I'm stunned by your descriptive scenery, the complexities of the characters involved. All of it. I hope Simply Rouge is just as great.

Part 2:

Simply Rouge

Camille de Clervaux's delving into her husband's tastes for BDSM gets even riskier in this second edition to the Scarlet Erotique Series. When a new stranger comes into the scene Cami finds herself set back and wondering if everything she presumed about Andre` DuPointe was all she thought it to be and the chemistry between Camille and this new stranger isn't just obvious between the two of them. No, both Julien and Andre` have noticed the desire between the confident, capable, and suave Jeremiah St. Clair. Will Camille finally get her chance with the man of her fantasies, or will the possessive and dangerous sides of her husband and his chosen Dominant prove to be a deadly scenario?

What Readers Have to Say About Simply Rouge:

5.0 out of 5 stars
Wow! Started Simply Rouge and finished already! I just could not put it down. The ending really stood out to me - the way the book ended and with the scene used at the ending, it feels like a double entendre, and I loved how a certain word played into this (sorry if this doesn't quite make sense, but I do not want to give anything away to those who haven't read it). I really liked getting some more insight into the characters from Simply Crimson and the introduction of new characters - I really wish I could get into Camille's head and know exactly what she is thinking. It seems there is some confusion/inner turmoil on Camille's part as to what exactly she wants and this was expressed enough to make readers feel this. The only bad part (and not really a bad part) but I wanted more of Jeremiah St. Clair! Thank you for another great book, Sai!
5 of 5 stars
Whoa, things really got heated quickly in this one! Camille's already set a hook in me, and Jeremiah sounds like he's the only real man in the bunch. Great premise and the evolution..the way you started the story and how you ended it.
It was flawless, detailed, and amazing, Sai. Amazing.
5 of 5 stars
I love this series! I can only say, Wow. Camille has definitely Blossomed in this installment! I cannot wait for SS!
5 of 5 stars
Before you read Simply Rouge, May I suggest that you read Simply Crimson 1st. Simply Rouge follows on perfectly from where Simply Crimson Leaves Off. Having Said that I enjoyed reading Simply Rouge, I was constantly sucked into the storyline. Ms Johnson delivered a total roll a coaster of emotions, provided many jaw dropping scenes in this BDSM story. This is a 18+ story and is not to be mistaken for anything less. Camille's story would not be complete with out these BDSM moments. I didn't want this book to end I needed more. Camille, a prudish trophy wife is pulled into a lifestyle that Jullien her selfish, womanizing, bisexual husband desires. Wanting to please Jullien she is thrown into situations that both entice her and horrify her. She discovers a need within herself that excites and her, and is dangerously addictive. Does Camille find the life she so desperately desires? You want to read this book it's ok, It'll stay our dirty little secret!

It however is a 18+ BDSM story and the story couldn't be told any other way (I wouldn't want it any other way ). I did not want it to end. Will You?
4.0 out of 5 stars

She woke up one evening hearing moans and went towards the sounds. To her surprise she saw her husband, a man and also a woman in a sex act.She was shocked but it made her curious about it. throughout the story it shows her journey with other characters in the book plus a new character that fascinate Camille. You need to read the book to get all the juicy stuff of the book.
5.0 out of 5 stars
This has become one of my favorite series; I can't wait till the next book comes out. I'm over here, all anxious to see what happens. Thank you so much, Sai, for sharing your talent with us. I highly enjoyed that these two books also came together in a twin pack; it made it easier to keep going with the story. Regardless, I absolutely love your books, that I've purchased and read so far.. I can't wait to see what you come up with next.

5.0 out of 5 stars
I started on the first page and got completely sucked in! This was an excellent book! It stirred emotions that I didn’t even know could be stirred, by a lifestyle that I do not know a lot about! I love Cami’s Character and the fact that this story causes you to think outside the box, and encourage you to be responsible in any and all decisions that you make with yourself and others! Oh yes, it’s extra hot and steamy too! I finished these books earlier today, and it is still all I can think about! Well, I for one cannot wait until June 6th to continue in this journey of trying to figure out what a person wants for themselves as opposed to what everyone else wants and expects!

Lets just say she follows her heart , Suprises are Surprising! But Camille's not the only Life that's about to change. He stands by his woman totally. But somebody gets their just deserts....  Alone just you and this book... Anywhere anytime.  Please don't deny yourself the Complete story to this Captivating Trilogy.
5 of 5 stars
The Scarlet Erotique Series is a prime example of why Sai Marie Johnson is already getting a reputation for being a scorchingly hot erotica writer. There is no question that Sai definitely knows how to write the detail that readers want to see in an erotica story. I have to say that while on the surface people may assume this is Chick Lit, I don't agree. Men could really enjoy this style of writing and this woman has an imagination unlike any I've ever seen. You can definitely deduce that Sai was influenced by greats such as Anne Rice or Laurell K. Hamilton. The reflection of poetic sensuality and how she crafts her stories is breathtaking. She'll suck you into her world, and leave you begging for more in the end. This series really is Fire Hot, and it makes sense that RED was chosen to represent it. Take the warning signs, cause this series really is that hot. Five Stars- across the board

Infectious Seduction

Infectious Seduction
It started with a look
An innocent demeanor
A few uttered words
Couldnt be spoken any sweeter
Quickening your heart
As you inch even closer
subtle glances, second chances
A heated intensity
You hold intrigue
You're a mystery
I find myself drawn
Even when you're not around
I wonder what I'll see
when you open up those bounds
You watch, you speak, you move
you drink..
And somehow you've infected the way that I think.
Its wrong, its raw
Its odd, its true
How strange it is to see
that out there existed someone like you
In all my aging journeys
and every one I've met
There's something odd about this.
I feel like I should be your pet.
You inspire a need with me
You bring me to a place I've not traipsed on before.
And every time you walk away
I stare longing at the door.
I dont know what will happen
I dont dare speak to defy it
I just know that hours pass and seem
not long enough to last whenever you are around
I know I shouldnt feel it
I know I shouldnt give it another thought
But it seems like since I met you..
You've invaded my every thought.

Pass the Baton Blog Hop: Erotic Tales of Love, Lust and Learning.

To get started I would like to introduce you to the lovely and amazing Lucee Lovett,
the wonderful erotica writer who asked me to be involved with this blog hop event.

Lucee Lovett is the writer behind the 13 Doors Series. Her first book, The Retreat was released January of 2013, and she just released another book entitled Immortal Heart: the Search for Larissa, which is the premiere book in her Immortals Series.

Lucee hails from the United Kingdom, and is a mother, wife and the owner of a dog she calls Blue.

In her own words:

Hi there! I’m Lucee Lovett, wife and mother by day, romance erotica author and publisher by night. I live in London, with terrific kids, husband and a great dog named Blue.
I’m started publishing my own ebook series in January 2013. I’m as pleased as punch with my achievements. I write across quite a few genres, but my favorite and main works are in erotica and the erotic subgenres.
I love it because it allows me to remove the mask on my own desires and fantasies and share them contextually with others, in the guise as fiction.
Location:
 London England UK
Interest:
Books on Paranormal/Supernatural, Sci Fi and Erotica Romance.  I love reading and writing in these genres.
Music:
I have an appreciation for all kinds of music.
Check out Lucee's work by visiting any of the following links:
What Am I Working On:
Right now I am still working on getting the third and final installment to my series The Scarlet Erotique Series. The final installment is titled Simply Scarlet, and it is proceeded by book 1, Simply Crimson, and book 2 Simply Rouge. We just did the cover reveal for Simply Scarlet at my last author takeover event, and the release date is June 6TH.
How Does my Work Differ from Others in my Genre:
This is an interesting question. A hard one to answer without sounding like a narcissist, but still still an intriguing question. That being said what makes my work any different from any other erotica author is that I wrote it. Sure, its great to pick up an intriguing erotic tale that someone else has written and soak up the pages like a sponge. I love doing that. It was my love of reading erotica that pushed me to decide to write erotica. The difference though is those were not my stories. They were the crafting of another artist's but in order to create my own canvas I needed to begin working on a story that came from my imagination. That is what makes my work different. It is mine, it is a place where I can write out fetishes, fantasies, desires, and also educate others to those things. Sexuality is not a bad thing. It is natural, it is human, it is part of life. It should not be swept under the carpet, and women shouldn't be made to feel dirty for liking to read those things. Men also shouldn't be ostracized for their desires to read provocative stories. So what makes my work different? Its simple: my work is a place where the imagination is allowed free reign.
Why I Write What I Do:
Erotica wasn't my preferred genre at first. I have nine books out already and each of them are very different. Several of them do have sex scenes but not enough to be classified as erotica. People have asked me where my inspiration for The Scarlet Erotique Series came from, and as I've thought about it more and more I have realized that I know what I wanted to read, and what I wanted to see. That came from the emergence of Fifty Shades of Grey. That being said allow me to elaborate, in my opinion, Fifty Shades of Grey is not a horrid book, but it is not the best book I've ever read either. On that note I have to be honest, I gritted my teeth at Anastasia Steele and her character development irritated the heck out of me. Then I had to look at Christian Grey objectively and I decided that I couldn't find a solid dominant anywhere in him. The man was fifty shades of effed up for sure, but the worst part about him to me was that he was a submissive under a Domme before he decided to jump ship and become a dominant. Sadly Mr. Grey left me sorely disappointed, and Anastasia was too naive to really know anything about the BDSM lifestyle. So my excitement to see a mainstream erotica with BDSM elements quickly fizzled out after I finished the third installment. I was left utterly disappointed by the entire thing. Back to The Scarlet Erotique Series, I named this series with a color scheme that I felt suited the true lifestyle: RED. There is nothing grey about BDSM. If there is anything left in a grey area I would be extremely worried about that relationship dynamic for sure. For two, BDSM is not lame or colorless. If anything it is erotic, exotic, passionate and under the right circumstances can be very liberating for a couple to spice up their intimacy. This is what I wanted to show the world. BDSM is not evil. Its not just some twisted sadomasochistic game. Yes, there are levels of people's likes/dislikes but in general the people who practice this lifestyle are pretty normal people. With that being said I also needed to show the world how there are dangerous sides to the lifestyle as well so people would learn the differences between a good dominant and a bad dominant. Why? Because I feel that as an author and a practioner of BDSM that we have a responsibility to educate our fans and others about the safety net requirements needed to participate in this type of relationship. Like tantra and other erotic methods, BDSM is just an extension of people's sexual interests. It is a healthy and good thing to embrace your sexuality, and learn techniques which you find enjoyable. The reason for this is simple since the release of Fifty Shades of Grey, there has been an influx of vanilla/curious individuals who want to participate in the lifestyle but have no knowledge about it at all. Many of these people turn to the internet for guidance, a place where both education, and predators mesh I might add.  All of these things are what prompted me to start working on my vanilla submissive and main character from the series, Camille Alessandra de Clervaux. I envisioned a beautiful red head woman who had a degree of sophistication, business background, and wasn't quite as naive as Anastasia Steele. Still I wanted Camille to be different, and I wanted her to seem more real. So I began working very hard on her character arc and development before I ever typed the first word of the manuscript to book one, Simply Crimson. Camille's red hair is also a play on the series title, and the book titles just popped into my head randomly. (#2 Simply Rouge and #3 Simply Scarlet). Then came the story plot. Camille needed a few catalysts to thrust her into the BDSM world because I needed to show my readers why Camille needed change, and why being vanilla and jumping into the lifestyle was not a good idea. So Camille's better half was born, Julien Leonard von Beirutt, who I saw in my head as being a rotten bastard with so many flaws and the inability to see past his own ass. I wanted Julien to be a jerk, with sadistic tendencies, but I didn't want him to be a psychopath. Andre` Gustav DuPointe` was my wild card. I needed him to be charming enough to seduce a vanilla woman with ease, but also have a dark undertone that nobody could peg. I'll leave you hanging on that note so as to not reveal spoilers! Moving on to Jeremiah St. Clair, whose inspiration came from my husband in a lot of ways. There is a lot about him that resembles the type of personality Jeremiah has, and since my husband was the first person to get me to see the beauty in BDSM, it is no surprise that Jeremiah St. Clair is the perfect Savior Dom. While Camille is not based of my real life, she does have similar qualities, and flaws. So the story is inspired by several things. My only hope is that everyone who reads it enjoys it as much as I did writing, and that they all come to love Camille as much as I have. I'll always adore my fiery red head myself.

How Does my Writing Process Work:

Again a very interesting question. I am a student in my senior year of the Creative Writing for Entertainment, Bachelor's of Fine Arts program at Full Sail University. My program is rigorous and has focused on all aspects of the creative writing industry including tv shows, television, video gaming, graphic novels and the publishing and distribution field. Because of this I have had to write a variety of different writing types and the process has been different for each. In regard to my erotic writing the process is usually just me sitting down, putting on some good tunes, and tuning out the world as I venture into my story setting. From there the writing just flows and I let it. I liken my process to the writer's waterfall effect. When it comes, it comes crashing down just like a waterfall, and when it ends it stills to silence just like the river once it has passed the crashing cliffside.

It is now time to pass the baton to three other erotica authors and the first on the list is the amazing Marc Nobbs:

Marc Nobbs is originally from Wolverhampton in Black County, England. He published his first erotic series through an erotic story website entitled Ruthie's Club. His first novel, Charlotte's Secret, was released in 2008 by Phaze and by 2011 Marc launched Parkland Publishing. Because of his education and ambitions Marc moved from an inner-city neighborhood to a posh area where he is literally just a stone-toss away from Princess Diana's gravesite. He now resides in Northamptonshire and when he is not writing he enjoys spending time with his family, and working peacefully in his garden where he grows a multitude of fruits and vegetables.

Next is the sophisticated Author Niquel

In her own words:

Author Niquel is an artistic jack of all trades. She writes, does all of her own graphics, and makes custom handmade crafts for little girls. Born and raised in and around Boston, she’s attended two colleges, Massasoit for graphic design and CDIA at Boston University for 3D animation. She decided to revisit her long lost passion for writing and created The Forbidden Series of books. Book one, A Forbidden Love was released in March 2014 and the 2nd book in the series will be out late spring/early summer.

Niquel currently lives just outside of Boston, with her very supportive significant other and their two precious daughters.

The third and final erotica author I will be sharing with you today is Felicia Fox

Felicia Fox is the creator of the Consumed Series, the first book was entitled Consumed and debuted in December 2013. Since then Felicia has published the second installment entitled Captive, which is her most current release (published May 2014)

Sai has done it yet again! This story draws you in from the very first page, and you can't stop reading until the end. Once you reach the end, you're left wanting more. I can't wait until the next part is ready for release! If you enjoyed 50 Shades of Grey...let's just say that this is much more kinkier, and you should check it out. It definitely gets your body ready for a date night! Lol. Thank you, Sai, for your continued writing! It never ceases to amaze me. xBrittany Kayla

Left me anticipating what will come next in this unusual marriage of convenience and Julien's extra curicular activities. I'm sure part 2 will be equally fascinating, and am anxiously awaiting the opportunity to read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing! Everything I wanted and more continued from the first book! May 11, 2014

Camille is a prudishTrophy wife who makes a life changing discovery about her husband and his business affairs.
Camille finds herself thrown into a lifestlye that suprises and excites her but it also horrifies her, she discovers a part of her self that she wasn't awear she disired and a voyage of self discovery. The need to be to be found desireable and so much more.
I felt like a fly caught in a web being consumed by Ms Johnson's story. I was totally captivated and drawn into Camille I felt her emotions good and bad her humilliation her passion to be wanted.
I would totally recommend these books to any body willing to experience such a jaw dropping story.
It however is a 18+ BDSM story and the story couldn't be told any other way (I wouldn't want it any other way ).
I did not want it to end.

Sincerely – Kathy Skinner/Lambert
